What you need to know about blogging and content marketing.

In this podcast we dive into the major questions you think of when it comes to blogging

  • How do you do it?

The importance of a blog

Did you know an active blog usually has 5-6 of top 10 pages on the website that come from your blog. It just goes to show that search engines love blogs that give out great information to its users. 

Not to mention the leads that come from your blog. It builds trust with your audience and answers their questions.

SEO is also a great benefit of a blog. Looking to rank for a keyword without making a new service page on your website? Write a blog post about it! 

In a nutshell, having an active blog creates a know, like & trust relationship!

It’s not about you, it’s about them

When it comes to blogging, it is all about your user. Look for creating healthcare post types around quality of life, symptoms, recoveries, patients’ journeys etc. 

Make sure your blog is very rich with the right content – If it is a healthcare blog, write about healthcare not about other topics with no relation. It can take the interest out of your blog and send your readers onto the next blog to answer their questions 

Research-backed content – putting yourself in the patient’s shoes and write it for them. Most of your patients did not go to med-school. Be sure to create your healthcare blog post in a 9-12th grade reading level. Your current and future readers(patients) will thank you for it!

How can you come up with content?

Listen to your patients. If you jot down the questions you get asked throughout the day you can come up with amazing content for your blog posts.

The first step is to figure out who your competitors are and what they are ranking for. 

Next would be to down select things you want to rank your site better for – find your keywords now

Our “secret sauce” Share your secrets: it helps you connect with your audience when you share real information without holding back. It can be scary at first but the results are worth it.

Share who you are: let the patients see what you do and allow you to connect with them on a personal level
